ExPVR is a software package for managing the recordings contained on Sky+ HD and XTV based personal video recorders. It contains tools to both copy Sky+ recordings to your computer (for playback in media playing software) and to copy between Sky+ hard disks (for example, if you decide to upgrade your Sky+ HD box to a larger hard disk, you can copy all of your previous recordings to a new disk). XTV is used by many providers across the world, they include:

ExPVR has been extensively tested with a veriety of Sky+ HD boxes with the latest ('Darwin') software. Darwin is the new software recently rolled out by Sky which includes Anytime+ pull VOD features. Experimental support for pre-darwin (Sky+ and Thompson Sky+ HD) systems has been added as of version 3.
The free version of ExPVR limits Sky+ HD to PC copies to 200Mb. All other features (including copying between Sky+ HD boxes) are available in the free version. Please visit the features section for a full comparison.
